At Emmett High School, we offer the PSAT to all Sophomore students and the top 20 ranked Juniors during the month of October each year. It is great practice to prepare to take the SAT when you are a Junior. Also, the National Merit Scholarship Program uses PSAT/NMSQT scores to find eligible juniors. Listen to announcements and watch your email for more information. Contact Mrs. Korell in the counseling office if you have questions.

SAT
At Emmett High School, we offer the SAT to all Junior students around the first of April each year. Sign-ups will take place during the month of January so listen to announcements and watch your email for more information. Contact Mrs. Korell in the counseling office for more information.

ACT
Emmett High School does not administer the ACT. Students that want to take the assessment can go to the website and register at the most convenient location. Contact Mrs. Korell in the Counseling Office for more information.

ASVAB
The ASVAB is the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. It is a military enlistment test that is used to determine if you are qualified to enlist in the military. It helps assign you to an appropriate job that fits your skills.
Emmett High School offers the ASVAB in January. A sign-up sheet will be in the counseling office usually starting in November. Contact Mrs. Bade in the counseling office for more detailed information.
